Here, You Will Make An Impact By Working on new product development teams to lead them in translating customer requirements into robust, relevant test methods for product performance Designing experiments to optimize test methods Coordinating testing and translating data into insights for product development Establishing an extensive network of support (corporate research, laboratory, manufacturing, engineering) to help facilitate completion of assignments Communicating at all levels of the organization to drive direction Functioning as a technical resource within immediate work group Your Skills And Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in technical field (completed and verified prior to start) AND One year of experience in physical test method development in a private, public, government or military environment Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in technical field (completed and verified prior to start) AND (5) years of experience in physical test method development in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Demonstrated project leadership experience, teamwork, and communication skills. Experience with use of abrasive products Experience with Design of Experiments methodology Statistical analysis experience Experience with Labview Experience with FANUC or Kuka robots Work location This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. Benefits Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
