Refrigeration Maintenance Supervisor (First Shift)

Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Refrigeration Maintenance Supervisor (First Shift) will supervise a team which operates an industrial ammonia refrigeration system, steam boiler system, and various other utilities. You will also execute a variety of medium complex activities in alignment with production needs to maintain and repair this equipment.Key AccountabilitiesCoordinate the execution of asset integrity and operator training involved with a high hazard process. Work closely with PSM.Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.Assist with leading contractor projects including budgeting and managing safety process during project implementation.Responsible for managing maintenance and repair projects for your team including parts ordering, budgeting, and implementation.You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.Other duties as assigned#LI-Onsite/#LI-JG2QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related fieldOne year of directly related work experience in Maintenance or Ammonia RefrigerationPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration, PSM, and Steam BoilersExperience coordinating third party resources to deliver business resultsOne year of supervisory experienceEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
