Provide administrative support to the DOJ Accredited Representative, including scheduling, filing, and preparing documents.

§ Assist clients with intake, gathering documentation, and completing immigration forms.

§ Translate and interpret between English and Spanish for clients, staff, and volunteers.

§ Maintain and organize case files within the case management system.

§ Greeting clients and volunteers during in-office information sessions and assist with workshops.

§ Outreach and coordinate with community partners, churches, and referral sources as needed.

§ Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission of SERJobs.

§ Assist in making recommendations to the Program Coordinator regarding program services.

§ Stay abreast of the best practices and changes of immigration law, regulations, and policies.

§ Assists with the development/management of program budget and be responsible for making requests for materials and supplies not to exceed approved budget expenditures.

§ Work with program staff, and the Program Coordinator to ensure program goals are being met.

§ Under the general supervision of the Citizenship Program Coordinator, be responsible for meeting all performance goals of the grant.

§ Perform other administrative duties as needed.

§ Attend staff meetings and serve on committees, as required.

§ As SER & Citizenship services are ever growing and changing, you may need to adapt to other duties as assigned.

§ Provide administrative support to the DOJ Accredited Representative, including scheduling, filing, and preparing documents.

§ Analyze the program and follow-up to verify quality and to ensure activities and services achieve stated objectives and outcomes. Revise program goals and objectives to meet the changing needs of program participants.

§ Participate in solicitation of funding requests from outside sponsors.

§ Create presentations, summaries, and other helpful materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of the program.

§ Manage deadlines and progress across the team to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.

§ Collect and analyze feedback from program participants to gauge satisfaction and success.

§ Maintain accurate and complete records as required. Maintain quality and timely data entry per grant specifications.

§ Actively participate in regular staff meetings and staff trainings and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships.

§ Provide support, as needed, to other core programs, including cross-training in other service areas. Assist with special projects and other tasks deemed necessary to achieve overall goals and to operate a

successful program.

§ Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

§ High school diploma equivalent required associate degree or Paralegal Certificate or another related field.

§ A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in with immigrants.

§ Experience in soft skills and life skills training preferred.

§ Demonstrated flexibility and experience working with diverse populations and communities in need.

§ Bilingual preferred (Spanish).

§ Excellent written, verbal communication, strong organizational and administrative skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

§ Computer literate in Microsoft Office and electronic communication

§ Able to work with only general direction and with minimal supervision.

§ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from program staff and members.

§ Energy and enthusiasm with instruction.

§ Genuine compassion for underserved and vulnerable individuals and families.

§ Interest in working within a nonprofit or ministry-oriented environment.

§ Ability to represent SERJobs’ values with professionalism, empathy, and grace.

§ Strong initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
