Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans addressing their specific goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care techniques to enhance their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.

• Keep abreast of the latest research in mood disorder treatments, incorporating new findings into clinical practice.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical requirements.

Qualifications\n

• Holding a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possessing valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrating expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Exhibiting a thorough understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• Having a proven track record of successful treatment outcomes in clients with mood disorders.

• Showing excellent communication skills and a strong ability to empathize and build rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
