If your career goals include making a valuable contribution as a Lead Parts Counterperson in an exciting and growing company and working with top professionals in the industry, then consider joining our team, We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individuals who can work in a team environment as a Lead Parts Counterperson builds sales by developing dealer and distributor programs and processing orders and directing customer fleet service repair into our service centers. Responsibilities:
- Works with counter personnel to update service department on backordered parts list twice a week.
- Train new parts personnel on procedures and navigating our system.
- Works hand in hand with service department to make sure procedures are followed and department procedures are efficient.
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Reviews and understands the numbers needed to achieve the Monthly/Yearly goals in the parts and service department.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements, specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information within a timely matter.
- Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six-plus months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Flexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays.
- Must have computer proficiency.
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
