The Front of House (FOH) Team Member is responsible for ensuring that food and services are delivered to guests in a manner that reflects the purpose and quality requirements of Chick-fil-A, Inc., as well as the mission, vision, and values of Chick-fil-A Calallen. The FOH Team Member is responsible for serving guests in a respectful and affectionate manner. The FOH Team Member is responsible for achieving high performance in the following areas: Order Accuracy, Service Speed, Attentive and Courteous, and Cleanliness. The FOH Team Member ensures that guests receive fresh, hot, and high-quality food in a timely manner in a refreshing and clean environment.

Responsibilities of the Front of House Team Members:

• Adheres to food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Greets guests promptly and in a friendly manner
• Engages and connects with guests by executing the principles of Winning Hearts Everyday, including the Four Basic Behaviors and 2nd Mile Service
• Enhances and customizes guest orders
• Enters orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Confirms guest orders at the point of sale to ensure order accuracy
• Accepts payments in the form of cash, credit cards, and gift cards, and provides correct change
• Issues receipts to guests
• Accurately completes food orders by placing the correct food items on trays or in bags and confirms order accuracy
• Delivers food to guests in a friendly manner
• Maintains cleanliness of the front counter, auto workspace, dining area, restrooms, play area, and patio, including trash containers and floors.
• Restocks the front counter and auto service spaces, dining area condiment stations, and restrooms as needed
• Follows the leadership direction provided by Senior Team Leaders and/or Manager
• Responds to guest inquiries and obtains assistance from leaders, if necessary
• Communicates any guest concerns or special requests to the Senior Team Leader and/or Manager
• Resolves guest concerns in a manner that maintains guest honor, dignity, and respect
• Manages resources effectively to ensure that performance metrics are met, such as food and labor cost targets
• Helps other team members when they finish assigned tasks to ensure that guests receive an affectionate experience
• Ensures guest safety by evaluating the environment for hazardous items and addressing issues promptly
• Ensures assigned tasks are completed by the end of the shift and ensures restaurant needs are communicated to the next shift
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Loves to serve and help others.

• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Willing and able to work flexible hours
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours)
• Ability to complete repetitive tasks with few breaks.

• Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as outdoor work
