Electronics Technician - XRays

The Electronics Technician utilizes tools, fixtures, and work instructions to support repair of low‑complexity electronic modules, X‑ray tanks and detectors, and/or metal detector repair and new‑build production. Responsibilities Follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures. Diagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with risk assessment and safe mechanical and electrical guidelines. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and material to repair supervisors and/or repair manager. Document actions by completing quality checklists. Work with supervision to understand our process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality. Provide basic hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co‑workers and management. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Accurately track and record time spent on projects. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Perform entry‑level SAP transactions. Assist higher‑level technicians as needed and learn for advancement. Carry out tasks in one of the areas below: Perform return evaluation process to diagnose, refurbish and test X‑ray generators with support/supervision. Evaluate, repair and test MT X‑ray detectors with support/supervision. Disassemble and perform the tank cleaning process for refurbishment. Evaluate MT Flex industrial computers for repair.
