Rio is looking for long term team members who want to be an integral part of our growing business where each member has a direct contribution on the direction we take as a company.Tampa, FLStaten Island, NYNew Orleans, LAResponsibilities:Trouble shoot and diagnose all levels of electronic systemsRadarVHF and MF/HFAISComputer systemsCamera systemsGPS12VDC and 24VDC power systemsMust know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ meggerTerminate all types of electronic equipmentRead all types of printsPerform routine maintenance and inspecting of communication and navigation equipmentAbility to learn and adapt to new equipment and manufacturesManage projects as assignedOn-call for a (7) seven-day periodTravel occasionally for the company to work at other locationsInsure all of Rio Marine's safety and operational policies are followedRio Marine is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is required.Qualifications:EducationHigh School diploma or equivalentPhysicalAbility to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distancesAbility to work in all adverse weather conditionAbility to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in heightAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of timeAbility to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous mannerPersonal BackgroundMust be capable of acquiring valid TWICMust have valid driver licenseMust have clean driving record with no DWI convictionsMust pass a criminal background checkMust be able to pass a drug and alcohol testPractical Experience:Previous experience in electronic service industryGood communications skillsProfessional manner in dealing with other employees, management and customersOrganizational SkillsBasic mechanical skillsFull Compensation Package Available to include:- Competitive Salary- Medical, Dental- Company truck
