Description of Responsibilities

• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records electronically
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
