Work Environment

This position is based in an onsite hospital setting where you will work approximately 40 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Otolaryngology department provides a supportive atmosphere that prioritizes teamwork and effective communication. As a part of this commitment, physicians may have rotational on-call responsibilities to ensure that patient needs are met 24/7, with specific scheduling discussed to ensure a balance between personal well-being and fulfilling patient care requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to diagnose a variety of ENT conditions through comprehensive medical history assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans integrating both medical and surgical methodologies, which may include technologies such as endoscopic procedures.
• Execute surgical interventions including but not limited to tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, and corrective sinus surgeries, employing cutting-edge surgical techniques and equipment.
• Manage ongoing patient care by prescribing appropriate medications and therapies tailored to alleviate symptoms and support healing processes.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, including audiologists and speech pathologists, to create integrated care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health measures to foster active participation in their healthcare journeys.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, ensuring documentation is current and adheres to legal and regulatory standards.
• Commit to continued professional development through participation in otolaryngology conferences, workshops, and ongoing education to stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Successfully completed an accredited residency program specializing in Otolaryngology.

• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide array of ENT health issues.

Preferred Experience
