PRN Hospitalist Opportunity

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join its elite team in beautiful Inverness, Florida. Qualified candidates:

• Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
• Florida license and DEA required
• On-site 7am-7am, nightly call coverage and weekends, nights
• Shifts variable based on need and census
• Potential of working with Internal Medicine residency depending on need and qualifications
• Daily census about 25 per provider / About 30 daily admissions
• Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds
• Hospitalists follow ICU patients, but all ICU patients have critical care consult and majority of critical care management is done by ICU team
• Hospitalists do NOT run codes
• Preferred experience with Cerner EMR
