This position directs and supports pharmacy staff. Participates in determining the short and long-term goals for the department and related policies and procedures. Provides leadership and guidance to the pharmacy staff. Essential Functions: - Provides leadership, guidance and serve as a role model to those professionals under his/her supervision. - Supervises and directs the daily operations of pharmacy services. Schedule and assign staff. - Serves as a resource person regarding pharmacy policies to pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other hospital staff. - Participates in on-call responsibility as assigned. - Responsible for staff development and performance evaluation. - Assists in the recruitment, interviews, and training of new staff. - Participates in the development of policy and procedures. - Conducts educational programs, in-services, and staff meetings.**Qualifications****Education** Doctor of Pharmacy Pharmacy required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
