Robotic Solutions Engineer - Field Service

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Robotic Solutions Engineer for field service in West Palm Beach, FL or Santa Clara, CA. The role involves hands-on technical support for robotic medical systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in hospital and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

Perform system setup, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, calibration, upgrades, and deinstallation of robotic medical systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and system-performance issues using diagnostic tools and documentation
Respond to scheduled and unscheduled service needs to maintain system reliability and customer satisfaction
Complete inspections, field actions, software updates, and service tasks per approved procedures
Maintain service records, manage spare parts and equipment inventory, and coordinate with hospital stakeholders

Requirements

2-3 years field service, medical devices, robotics, or capital equipment experience
Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, and software troubleshooting
Experience with installation, commissioning, calibration, testing, or preventive maintenance
Basic knowledge of regulated medical-device environments and GMP/ISO standards
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and data-analysis capabilities
Professional customer-service and communication skills
Fluent English written and verbal communication
