As a Security Officer Badge Access Patrol in Memphis TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access activity with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors drivers and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse loading dock trailer yard parking and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials for authorized entry and observe shipping and receiving areas for security-related concerns involving people vehicles and/or property.
• Support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location by reporting hazards policy violations and/or maintenance concerns and following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
