As a Security Guard Patrol Unit in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or conditions that may require follow‑up. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or equipment concerns according to post orders. Support daily site operations by completing incident reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and communicating relevant updates during shift transitions and with Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
