You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide welcoming customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and direct guests to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency responders as needed. Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
