About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a proactive sales organization, driving national account growth, and overseeing regional sales teams. This role requires a leader who can partner closely with the CEO, operations, and engineering to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, defense, or aerospace markets, with a strong mechanical aptitude and over 12 years of sales leadership experience. As the Vice President of Sales, the primary focus will be on developing and executing sales plans, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The role demands a strategic thinker who can also be hands-on in leading the sales team, providing coaching, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The candidate should be adept at analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively position the company's technical packaging solutions. A proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products being sold are essential for this position.
