About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP, Compensation to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for the design, governance, and execution of the company's compensation programs, with a focus on aligning them with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and a pay-for-performance culture. This role involves advising senior leadership, partnering with the Board's Human Capital and Compensation Committee, and ensuring that all compensation programs are in compliance with company policies and government regulations. The SVP, Compensation will also lead the development of executive compensation materials, provide expert guidance on compensation decisions, and manage the annual governance calendar for executive compensation. Applicants for the SVP, Compensation position at the company should have a proven track record in translating complex compensation concepts into clear communications, handling sensitive information with integrity, and demonstrating exceptional judgment in high-stakes situations. The role requires a deep expertise in SEC disclosures, proxy statements, and executive compensation governance, as well as a strong understanding of relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years' of experience in compensation or finance, with a significant background in executive compensation, and a preference for those with experience in a publicly traded company or regulated financial institution. Strong collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to integrity and inclusion are essential.
