Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

My client is a leading law firm seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3–7 years of experience to join its M&A Practice in Boston. The role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated M&A matters, work directly with clients, manage deal processes, and take on increasing responsibility within a collaborative corporate practice. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate definitive and ancillary M&A transaction documents. Manage deal processes and day-to-day workflow for a variety of M&A matters. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Handle sophisticated M&A matters for clients with complex legal and business needs. Supervise and mentor junior associates. Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients throughout all stages of transactions. Manage multiple concurrent matters while meeting deadlines and client expectations. Qualifications J.D. from a nationally recognized law school. 3–7 years of M&A experience. Strong mergers and acquisitions experience, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Experience managing deal processes and client relationships. Experience supervising junior associates is preferred. Strong academic credentials. Excellent organizational, communication, drafting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines effectively. Competitive salary range of $260,000–$420,000 annually.
