Construction Account Manager (Indiana)

Account Manager – Indiana Gordian is seeking an Account Manager based in Indiana to support and train clients on Job Order Contracting (JOC) products and services, leveraging Gordian’s construction data and software. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain schedules of detailed activities to accomplish procurement objectives for clients. Implement and adhere to project procedures from identification through construction execution to meet objectives for various Job Orders. Read and understand construction plans and specifications; conduct comprehensive price proposal reviews and create detailed line‑item proposals. Train contractors in Gordian software, client procedures, and assist in contract bidding. Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. Manage multiple accounts and develop positive working relationships with all customers. Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and satisfaction. Collaborate with Project Managers on day‑to‑day operations, including contract renewals, scheduling, troubleshooting, and software training. Identify root causes of customer successes and failures; propose process enhancements. Partner with cross‑functional teams to exceed customer goals and key metrics. Provide input on new processes and workflows. Maintain superior customer service levels and operational excellence. Collaborate with construction management firms to promote consistency and develop standards. Coordinate with Finance on billing and invoicing. Participate in budget development, revenue forecasting, and program usage benchmarking. Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with clients’ needs and budgets. Review contractor change requests and initiate job‑order supplementals when appropriate. Interact with owner representatives, contractors, and facility end‑users to minimize project concerns. Review daily inspection reports, summarize and report construction progress weekly to upper management. Travel 50‑75% within Indiana. Experience Required Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5+ years of construction procurement, management, or general contracting, especially healthcare construction. High‑level analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerBI; ability to develop custom tracking documents and reports. Background in construction documentation and administration preferred.
