Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential speech-language pathology support in a collaborative educational environment. Beginning August 10, 2026, and continuing through December 2026—with the possibility of extension—this position entails serving medically fragile students as part of a dedicated team that already includes another SLP and an SLPA. The setting offers both challenge and support, as you’ll be helping to cover a maternity leave for the fall semester.

What You Bring:

• Active SLP-CCC credential, with experience practicing in a school setting
• Demonstrated proficiency supporting students with complex, medically fragile needs
• Hands-on experience utilizing AAC devices and tailoring communication interventions
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to build productive relationships with families, teachers, and support staff

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students across three specialized classrooms
• Assess, design, and implement individual and group therapy utilizing AAC devices
• Collaborate daily with the assigned SLP, SLPA, and teaching staff to ensure continuity of care
• Document student progress, maintain compliance with all special education regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support families and caregivers in understanding and utilizing communication systems
• Participate actively in team meetings, planning, and professional development as appropriate
