Associated Director Data & AI Delivery Lead - Clinical Development

This role leads end-to-end technical delivery of AI and machine learning solutions for clinical development operations at Gilead. The Associate Director oversees solution architecture, code quality, and agile delivery across clinical safety and regulatory domains, ensuring scalable implementations from concept through production release.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of Clinical Development AI solutions from ideation through production
- Manage Agile delivery including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and releases
- Lead hybrid technical delivery teams and facilitate technical problem-solving across domains
- Develop scalable solutions using Databricks, AWS, and enterprise data platforms
- Define technical standards for AI/ML pipelines, data models, and automation workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years or Master's degree with 8+ years relevant experience
- Experience leading AI/ML delivery programs in Agile environments
- Hands-on background in data engineering, data science, or architecture
- Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures and cloud platforms
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Product-centric mindset with focus on value realization
- Clinical development experience (trial operations, data management, safety) preferred
Compensation: $195,670.00 - $253,220.00 base
