In this vital position, you’ll ensure that surgical instruments and reusable medical equipment are meticulously cleaned, inspected, assembled, and sterilized to support safe procedures and positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Clean, inspect, and test reusable medical equipment and surgical instruments for proper function and cleanliness

• Identify and report defects or concerns in instrumentation
• Assemble instrument trays and equipment according to established procedures

and standards * Operate sterilization equipment and follow protocols to ensure proper sterilization of supplies

• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory
• Provide timely and efficient sterile supply services to departments across

the medical center * Uphold infection prevention standards and contribute to a safe surgical environment Minimum Qualifications Education * High school diploma or equivalent required Experience

• Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation preferred
• Prior experience in sterile processing or healthcare support roles is a plus

Licensure/Certification

• Current sterile processing certification (e.g., CRCST, CBSPD) preferred
• Willingness to obtain certification within a designated timeframe may be

considered Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Basic understanding of microbiology and infection control principles preferred

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the sterile processing field
