Quality InspectorSnelling Staffing of Canton, OH is hiring for a Quality Inspector1st shift 7am-3:30 pm Monday-FridayPay $23.00-$25.00 (Based on skill level and experience)Must read blueprints and have experience using inspection tools: caliper, height gage, combo square. Familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software. Must have excellent math skills. Calibration experience, CMM and surface plate inspection techniques a plus.Duties /Responsibilities:Conducts daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques; supports production team as needed.Inspects materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.Performs First Article Inspections and prepares First Article Reports in Excel.Calibrates inspection equipment and maintains records in Gagepack database.Performs 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots, as required by customer.Maintains inspection records according to company & customer standards.
