Auto Service Advisor

Job Summary Kunes Auto Group is seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the vital link between our customers and the service department. In this role you will assess service needs, prepare repair orders, and ensure an outstanding experience at every step. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and record their vehicle concerns. Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer specifications and vehicle history. Prepare detailed repair orders, including labor and parts estimates, for customer approval. Communicate inspection results and recommend necessary corrective actions. Provide updates on repair progress, explain costs, and secure customer authorization for additional work. Advise customers on vehicle care, preventative maintenance, and available services. Schedule service appointments, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. Maintain high customer satisfaction standards by addressing concerns promptly. Coordinate with technicians to ensure vehicles are serviced within the promised timeframe. Implement quality control processes to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in Customer Service, Inside/Outside Sales, or Parts required. Prior Service Advisor experience in an Auto or RV Dealership a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes is a plus. Technically savvy, easily able to learn software systems required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
