Service Dispatcher Temporary (Poss temp to perm) Weymouth Ma Established Mechanical Contractor is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Dispatch Coordinator . Job Duties:
- Answering phones and speaking with demanding clients on a consistent basis
- Ability to triage competing demands for customer requirements and anticipate needs
- Maintain pre-scheduled commitments for teams months in advance
- Dispatch and manage the workload of assigned Service Technicians
- Forecast Service Technicians schedule at least 2 to 3 days out and maintain the on-call schedule.
- Generate and maintain Service Technicians work orders, creating clear notes for Service call/visit history.
- Follow up on Service Technicians debriefing after daily call completion and after hours calls, working with Service Manager when needed.
- Keep customers informed of Service Technicians arrival, potential schedule changes, etc.
- Effectively resolve customer concerns, working with Service Manager as needed.
- Create and maintain customer records in software system with detailed information.
- Performs other clerical duties associated with role.
- Minimum 5 years related customer service experience
- Experience with HVAC or similar industry
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience with dispatching software preferred
- Self-motivated with advanced customer service skills.
- Ability to commit to overtime when needed
- Dependable, reliable and punctual.
- Attention to detail, showing pride in work.
- Excellent professional communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Meets commitments, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
- Ability to interact with all levels of company.
- Must offer value in every business aspect, realizing how important their role is as well as the company's customer relationships.
