FTK Hospitality | Long branch , NJ
Join our dynamic culinary team at FTK Hospitality as a Sous Chef in our upscale coastal restaurant located in the Long Branch, NJ shore area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the culinary arts, eager to lead a small team, and committed to hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Lead and mentor a small culinary team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Collaborate with the executive chef on menu development and execution.
- Train kitchen staff on techniques and best practices.
- Maintain inventory and manage food costs efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for culinary excellence and a high standard of quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Schedule
