Director (Principal Scientist) - Precision Medicine - Outcomes Research

Director-level principal scientist position within oncology outcomes research, leading evidence generation and real-world data initiatives for precision medicine programs. Requires doctoral degree and expertise in outcomes research, epidemiology, and biomarker studies to support clinical and commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead precision medicine outcomes research studies across oncology programs with approved and emerging biomarkers
• Develop and execute observational and real-world studies supporting clinical access and value demonstration
• Collaborate with internal teams, academic centers, health systems, and external stakeholders on research design and execution
• Prepare research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and comprehensive study reports
• Communicate research findings at scientific conferences, publications, and through regulatory dossiers

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in health services research, outcomes research, epidemiology, public health, health economics, or related discipline
• Four or more years post-doctoral experience in outcomes research or epidemiology
• Advanced expertise in real-world evidence generation, observational study design, and global research guidelines
• Knowledge of diagnostic modalities and assay validation (IHC, ISH, PCR, NGS, digital pathology)
• Laboratory experience understanding tissue processing, biobanking, and quality assurance considerations
• Track record of scientific presentations and peer-reviewed publications
• Proficiency in study protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and clinical reporting

Compensation: $190,800.00 - $300,300.00 base
