Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is a member of the patient centered medical care team and is responsible for working with providers, nurses and other front office staff to prepare patients in an efficient manner and ensure a smooth and consistent workflow.Medical assistants perform many tasks some of which include:Documentation of chief complaint,Review of medications and allergies,Vital signs, completing preventive health screenings, lab test and or other procedures.Administrative supportQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED and successful completion of a Medical Assistant program (diploma) from an accredited school or be certified as a medical assistant with one year of experience.
