We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient clinic in Shelton, CT. This role offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule with the ability to adjust start/end times and total weekly hours, providing excellent work-life balance with no weekend work. You will work hands-on with children to support their fine motor, sensory processing, and cognitive development in a compassionate, collaborative environment.

Setting: Pediatric outpatient clinic,  in person

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:00 PM

Flexibility: Start/end times and total weekly hours can be adjusted

 

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children and perform standardized assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide engaging, child-focused therapy sessions
• Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, ADLs, self-regulation, and cognitive development
• Educate parents/caregivers on home activities and carryover
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing
• Collaborate with PTs, speech therapists, behavioral specialists, and other clinicians
• Ensure children's safety and well-being during treatment

 

Required Qualifications

• Active Connecticut OT/COTA license
• AOTA/NBCOT certification, as applicable
• Minimum 1 year pediatric occupational therapy experience
