Senior Financial System Analyst

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, the role demands a seasoned professional adept at transforming complex data flows into streamlined, repeatable reporting and forecasting tools. Candidates with deep expertise in Yardi and advanced Excel skills will find a unique challenge in bridging budgeting, cash management, and accounting workflows to support strategic decision-making. Title: Senior Accounting Systems & Treasury Analyst Industry: Manufactured Home Community Management Responsibilities: Design and enhance Yardi-based reporting frameworks and accounting processes to improve accuracy and usability. Develop and sustain Excel-driven reporting instruments and financial schedules that support operational and strategic needs. Support weekly cash flow monitoring and forecasting efforts to maintain liquidity and optimize treasury functions. Manage budget-to-actual tracking for operating entities, ensuring alignment with financial plans and forecasts. Execute recurring calculations related to management fees, allocations, and intercompany transactions with precision. Identify and implement automation opportunities to replace manual accounting tasks, increasing efficiency and reducing errors. Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and special projects, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting. Document accounting procedures and reporting methodologies to safeguard institutional knowledge and promote consistency. Qualifications Must-Have: Proven expertise in Yardi, including report building and understanding of its accounting architecture. Advanced proficiency in Excel for creating complex financial models and reporting tools. Experience in real estate accounting with a strong grasp of accrual accounting principles and financial statements. Demonstrated ability to improve or build accounting systems rather than solely executing transactional processes. Familiarity with cash management, treasury operations, and cash forecasting methodologies. Highly organized, logical thinker capable of working independently and questioning existing workflows for improvement. Nice-to-Have: Background in manufactured housing or related real estate sectors.
