The Head of Facilities oversees the management, maintenance, and operations of an organization’s physical environment. This leadership role ensures that all facilities are safe, efficient, and suitable for business activities while aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations of buildings and equipment
- Manage facility budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Lead and supervise facilities staff and contractors
- Plan and oversee space utilization and workplace safety initiatives
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies and operational issues
- Collaborate with other departments on facility-related projects and improvements
