Their expertise in data analysis and forecasting enables them to make informed decisions that align with business goals and customer satisfaction.How you'll make an impact:Lead a group of planners to ensure that customer needs are metImplement new or improved planning processes to improve efficiency and performanceRevise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineeringArrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedulesConfer with personnel, vendors, or customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delaysWork with Planning & Fulfillment Manager to develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and operationsForecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or productsCollaborate with operations team to document physical supply chain processes such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flowsYour Background:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration, or closely related fieldMinimum 5 years in manufacturing settingProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience using SAP/SAP Ariba strongly preferredMore about us:At Hitachi Energy, our mission is to advance a sustainable energy future for all.
