divh2Area Sales Manager - Peru/h2pConducts all required customer facing activities personally or in conjunction with Business Partners (Agents) to maximize sales results of following products and related engineering services for all IMI Critical portfolio:/pulliControl valves, both for conventional and severe service applications with particular focus on the latter;/liliChoke valves;/liliDesuperheaters and steam conditioning stations;/liliActuators and related components;/liliHIPPS systems;/liliIsolation valves (butterfly, ball);/liliPressure relief valves;/liliNew Portfolio Selling: Orton, Truflorona, STI (actuation), PSV BR, Remosa, ZG, Nuclear, etc./li/ulpTarget markets are:/pulliLarge scale power generation by means of fossil fuels, combined cycle, biomass, solar (excluding photovoltaic)./liliOil gas upstream, midstream, and downstream (refineries and all petrochemical industries)/liliPulp and paper and sugar mills, and any other industrial process involving steam generation and control/liliWater treatment, desalination plants/liliMinerals extraction and treatment/li/ulpTarget customers are:/pulliEnd users - Plants of End User, licensors and operators and any other company owning or operating any of the plants mentioned above./liliCompanies operating as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPCs), integrators or any other company sourcing directly or indirectly the relevant equipment for the conception of new plants or the expansion or modification of existing plants in the mentioned markets./liliOriginal equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of major components like turbines, compressors, boilers, and any other equipment where the mentioned products and services are required./liliEnd users, licensors and operators and any other company owning or operating any of the plants mentioned above./li/ulpGeography covered:/ppPrimary focus is Peru, followed by Ecuador, Colombia and Central America (Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize) and Spanish Speaking Caribbean (Dominican Republic, Dominica)./ppThis position does not include preparation of proposals, which is responsibility of the Inside Sales Engineers./ppKnowledge Required:/pulliProven Customers portfolio with End Users, EPCs and OEMs in energy and petrochemical markets/liliKnowledge of combined heat and power combined cycle power plant processes./liliUnderstanding of processes of oil and gas production, transportation refinery and petrochemical plants./liliExperienced in handling complex and high value opportunities/liliAbility to make informative and persuasive presentations to technical customers/liliComputer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)/liliIntermediate level of written and spoken English/li/ulpKnowledge Preferred:/pulliKnowledge of control valve sizing./liliKnowledge of principles and theories of mechanical engineering and fluid dynamics./liliKnowledge of industry specifications and norms/liliExperienced in power and oil and gas markets/liliKnowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce.com)/liliProficient level written and spoken English (intermediate level to speak)./liliAbility to present at executive level/li/ulpEducation and Experience Required:/pulliHigh school diploma required (in university recognized school)./lili5 years of experience in a related field or similar role/li/ulpDesired, but not required:/pulliBachelors or masters degree in engineering related field/lili10+ years of experience in the markets, preferably with the same product line./li/ulpHealth Safety/ppThe physical demands described within the Key Duties Responsibilities section of this job description are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
