Investment Services is U.S. Bank's institutional trust, custody, and fund servicing franchise. This role will lead technology strategy and delivery supporting business products to enable the growth and evolution of U.S. Bank's Investment Services. Products focus includes ETF servicing, Alternative Investments, Fund Services, Corporate Trust, and Global Custody.The individual in this role serves as the Senior technology leader partnering directly with Head of Global Investment Services executive to develop and execute a technology strategy that enables revenue growth, enhances client experiences, strengthens risk management capabilities, and modernizes critical platforms. The successful candidate will operate as a highly visible Executive leader, influencing Senior business and technology stakeholders while driving large-scale transformation initiatives across front-office, middle-office, and enterprise functions.A key component of this role will be partnering closely with business and technology leaders supporting business strategies, ensuring successful alignment of platforms, operating models, talent, and technology capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the technology vision, strategy, and investment roadmap supporting U.S. Bank's Global Investment Services growth objectives.Partner directly with Senior business executives to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions.Lead a large, geographically dispersed global technology organization responsible for application development, platform modernization, technology operations, architecture, and delivery execution.Drive transformation initiatives across businesses by reducing legacy complexity, rationalizing applications and infrastructure, and implementing scalable solutions that enable growth, resilience, and operational efficiency.Provide Executive leadership for strategic platform decisions, including modernization efforts, third-party solutions, build-versus-buy evaluations, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.Influence enterprise technology strategy through active participation on Senior technology leadership teams and cross-functional governance forums.Establish strong partnerships across business, risk, compliance, legal, and audit functions to maintain an effective control environment while enabling innovation and speed to market.Attract, develop, and retain top technology talent while building a high-performing, inclusive leadership culture focused on accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.Oversee significant technology investments and budgets, ensuring delivery excellence while maximizing business value and return on investment.Preferred Skills/QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.15+ years of experience leading large-scale technology organizations, including senior executive leadership experience.Extensive experience developing and executing technology strategies supporting ETF, Alternative Investments, Fund Services, Corporate Trust, and Escrow products.Experience evaluating and deploying emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance business outcomes and operational effectivenessDemonstrated ability to influence and partner with executive-level business leaders on strategic priorities and technology investments.Experience leading large transformation programs involving platform modernization, organizational change, and delivery at scale.Strong understanding of technology risk management, regulatory requirements, information security, and operational resiliency practices within financial services.Proven track record integrating acquired organizations, platforms, or technology capabilities.Demonstrated success leading complex global technology teams through periods of rapid growth and organizational transformation.Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and inspire both technical and non-technical audiences.Leadership & Management Behavioral CompetenciesStrong Business Acumen - A strategic thinker who have deep product knowledge can connect technology investments to business growth and competitive advantage.Influencing and empowering others - An influential executive who builds trust and credibility with senior leaders and stakeholders.Change Management Advocate - A transformational leader capable of driving large-scale change in dynamic and complex environments.Outcome Drive - A collaborative partner who balances innovation, risk management, and disciplined execution.Talent Management - A talent developer committed to building strong teams and future leadership pipelines.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
