Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and continuous follow-up care to ensure patient progress.

• Engage with patients through family and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to foster healing and understanding.

• Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
\n
• Participate in clinical supervision once a week with the Clinical Supervisor, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance clinical skills.

• Lead case conferences to develop treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they receive appropriate and personalized care.

• Collaborate with Reentry Social Workers to facilitate effective discharge planning, ensuring patients transition smoothly from treatment to their everyday lives.
\n
• Where applicable, conduct psychological testing and supervise social work interns or student volunteers to support their clinical development.
\n
• Coordinate care with other institutional programs, ensuring a seamless approach to treatment tailored to each patient's circumstances.
\n
• Develop and facilitate group treatment sessions within mental health observation units, ensuring a supportive space for patients to share and heal.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, providing targeted interventions that address a variety of mental health challenges. Your role is crucial in shaping their therapeutic journey, promoting resilience, and nurturing emotional well-being through tailored therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related discipline.

Compensation and Benefits\n
