Embedded Software Engineer - Entry-Level

Salary: $78,200 - 105,800 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance after starting, including required special program access
• At least 1 year of experience developing in C++
• Experience implementing CI/CD and understanding of DevOps
• Preferred: A bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related field; alternatively, a bachelors degree with directly related work experience or at least 4 years of relevant experience
• Must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person
• Must be able to meet U.S. Government citizenship requirements for the required security clearance and program access
• Must complete a technical assessment and satisfy our Conflict of Interest assessment process

• Assist with designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining embedded software in accordance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards
• Gather and analyze information to translate customer requirements into software designs for embedded devices and systems
• Help build and write embedded software for specialized hardware
• Participate in integrating embedded software with hardware components
• Help analyze, monitor, and improve embedded software efficiency and stability
• Provide information to support testing and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems
• Assist with implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and relevant regulatory changes
• Help track and evaluate internal and supplier software team performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards

We are hiring an entry-level Embedded Software Engineer for our Government Vehicle Health Management Systems team in Hazelwood, Missouri. Our Government Training Team develops simulation software for government aircraft training systems to support pilot readiness and mission success. This role is expected to be 100% onsite and is on the first shift.
