• Position: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist
• Location: North Chesterfield, VA 23235
• Start Date: January 1, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend and call coverage as needed
• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia practice
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,900

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• DEA and CSR required
• Participation in MOC required
• Ability to work call shifts, including in-house call when needed
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred
• Comfort with OB coverage and cross-coverage across multiple sites
• Graduation from an accredited anesthesiology residency program

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of hospital procedures and surgical cases
• Support operating room, obstetric, and procedural areas as needed
• Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia care for adult patients
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and call coverage
• Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and the care team in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Adapt to a broad case mix, including general, obstetric, and specialty services
