Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, including detailed physical examinations and reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through accurate interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative support by preparing the operating room, positioning patients effectively, and passing instruments during procedures
• Provide excellent pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications Needed

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Essential Skills
