About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial records while supporting the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit activities.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for reporting and audits
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances and discrepancies
• Assist with inventory and operational accounting reconciliations
• Partner with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Chargebacks teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Support internal controls, process improvements, and documentation initiatives
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed

• Month-end close activities are completed accurately and on schedule
• Account reconciliations are timely, organized, and well-supported
• Financial records are maintained with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Issues and discrepancies are identified proactively and resolved efficiently
• Strong partnerships are built across Finance and other business functions
• Opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls are identified and implemented

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and accounting systems
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience within consumer products, wholesale, apparel or licensing industries
• Experience supporting external audits

Compensation & Benefits

Orly-Corp. provides base salary ranges for all U.S. positions in accordance with applicable laws. The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $95,000.
