**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Tester to join our team for a long-term onsite engagement in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL and Data Warehouse testing, data validation, and data quality assurance, along with mandatory Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.

This role will be responsible for leading end-to-end data quality and testing initiatives across large-scale data modernization, migration, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platform projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business, program, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and reliability of enterprise data.

**Key Responsibilities**

Lead end-to-end data quality assurance initiatives across enterprise data platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with business, program, architecture, and engineering teams to identify data dependencies, assess risks, and support data transformation and modernization initiatives.
Design and implement scalable ETL and data testing strategies for large and complex data environments.
Perform source-to-target data validation, data reconciliation, transformation logic validation, aggregation testing, and business rule validation.
Develop and maintain effective test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data for ETL/ELT and data migration initiatives.
Conduct data profiling, anomaly detection, data quality analysis, and root-cause analysis of complex data issues.
Validate data transformations across legacy systems and modern cloud-based data platforms.
Support data migration and modernization testing initiatives, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
Test structured and hierarchical data formats, including JSON and XML.
Collaborate with technical teams to validate data lineage, data integration processes, and data governance requirements.
Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate testing approaches, tools, and solutions.
Resolve complex technical and data quality challenges and recommend effective solutions.
Drive continuous improvement through QA automation, process optimization, and industry best practices.
Communicate complex technical concepts, testing results, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.

**Required Qualifications**

5+ years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Quality Assurance.
Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience is mandatory.
Strong experience in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, and data reconciliation.
Experience with source-to-target testing and validation of complex data transformations.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data migration, and data modernization initiatives.
Experience designing and implementing scalable Data QA and testing strategies.
Strong knowledge of data profiling, data quality analysis, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis.
Experience validating complex business rules, aggregations, and transformation logic.
Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, data integration, and data management concepts.
Experience testing structured and hierarchical datasets, including JSON and XML.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**

2+ years of experience with Snowflake.
Experience working with Databricks and other cloud-based data platforms.
Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
Experience with Data QA automation and modern testing frameworks.
Experience developing POCs and evaluating new QA tools and technologies.
Knowledge of data governance and data lineage tools.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
