Working alongside the Finance team, this role offers exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and event accounting. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical accounting experience in a professional sports environment.**Responsibilities Include:*** Assist with monthly entries for multiple revenue centers.* Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and reporting.* Assist with accounts payable processing and expense approvals.* Help prepare event settlements and game-day financial reconciliations.* Enter and reconcile company credit card transactions.* Assist with account reconciliations and general ledger support.* Prepare invoices and assist with reconciliations for various departments.* Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.* Complete special projects and other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.\*\* Minimum Qualifications:\*\** Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and game days as needed.\*\* Preferred Qualifications:\*\** Previous coursework or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.* Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.\*\* Physical Demands & Work Environment:\*\*This position primarily works in a professional office environment with occasional work at stadiums and special events. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer.
