This established acute care hospital delivers a broad range of inpatient and specialty services, including comprehensive neurological care. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient neurology coverage on an on-site basis. The structured inpatient environment is designed to facilitate quality neurological care delivery across all coverage periods.

The region offers clinicians on assignment access to a variety of recreational and cultural opportunities, including outdoor landscapes, coastal areas, desert terrain, and mountain trails. Year-round activities and regional attractions provide options during time away from the assignment.

The neurologist will provide inpatient neurology coverage on a 7-on/7-off schedule, working day shifts with 24-hour call responsibilities as required. Clinical duties include providing inpatient neurology consultations, evaluating and managing acute neurological conditions, and assisting with stroke-related care. The clinician will coordinate with hospital care teams throughout each coverage period to facilitate quality neurological care delivery. Board certification in Neurology and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this assignment.
