This outpatient medical office provides specialized hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population within a structured on-site clinic setting. The facility is supported by a clinical team that includes an oncology physician, an LVN, an RN Case Manager, and infusion center RNs to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to support quality oncologic and hematologic care throughout the covered assignment period.

This position is about a hour and half East of Los Angeles. This region offers clinicians on assignment access to beaches, coastal parks, and a range of recreational activities including hiking, sailing, cycling, and water sports. Diverse outdoor and leisure options are available for exploration during time away from clinical duties, with year-round attractions suited to varied interests.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 13-17 patients per day with 3 new consults expected daily. The schedule is structured as 4.5 days of clinic time and 0.5 day of education time per week, with no call obligations required. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions within an outpatient clinic setting, and all clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
