This facility operates as a large, well-established academic medical center with a broad neurology practice and a diverse patient population. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient neurology coverage within a high-acuity hospital environment. The neurology team operates within a structured inpatient setting designed to facilitate quality care delivery across all coverage periods.

The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of historical, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking path connecting 16 revolutionary landmarks, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill. The waterfront and harbor provide opportunities for boating and outdoor recreation, while museums, public gardens, and walking tours offer additional options during time away from the assignment. The neurology nurse practitioner will provide inpatient coverage across day shifts, night shifts, and call as required, managing neurological patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Clinical responsibilities include daily patient care, neurological assessment, and active collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team throughout each coverage period. Prescriptive authority is required for all clinicians considered for this assignment. Board certification is required.
