This outpatient psychiatry clinic operates on an academic medical campus, delivering structured psychiatric services to an adult population within a collaborative clinical environment. The facility maintains established protocols and clinical infrastructure to support continuity of outpatient psychiatric care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning October 4 on an ongoing basis.

The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of historical, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include historic landmarks along the Freedom Trail, the USS Constitution, and Fenway Park, alongside outdoor options such as kayaking and paddleboarding on the Charles River and scenic harbor cruises. Visitors will also find a variety of dining and shopping destinations, including Newbury Street and the Prudential Center, as well as day trip options such as Salem, accessible by train within approximately 30 minutes.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes per evaluation) and providing medication management follow-up appointments (30 minutes per visit) for adult patients. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a PMHNP is required, along with psychiatric certification and board certification. An after-hours pager is provided for coverage; after-hours calls are infrequent, and call arrangements are negotiable.
