Role Description: The Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in the Huntsville-Decatur-Albertville area. This role oversees daily store operations, including supervising Team Members, monitoring inventory and cash controls, and ensuring that all areas of the store are clean, safe, and well-stocked. The Team Leader supports and coaches Team Members to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and consistently offer high-quality food and beverages, including Best Bean coffee and CHIX. Responsibilities include handling cash management tasks, inventory control, writing/building schedules, hiring/recruiting, enforcing company policies, fostering strong vendor relationships and helping resolve guest concerns in a professional manner. The person in this role will be expected to promote a positive workplace culture, will lead by example on the sales floor, and work closely with management to meet performance and service goals. Qualifications: Experience in retail, food service, or convenience store operations, with prior supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, handle guest feedback, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to manage basic store administration tasks such as cash handling, inventory controls (shrink/loss), and following safety and compliance procedures. Skill in coaching and motivating team members, fostering collaboration, and supporting a positive and inclusive work environment. Reliable work habits, including punctuality, attention to detail, and willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Comfort working on your feet, performing light physical tasks such as stocking shelves and maintaining a clean store environment. Strong communication and follow-up skills Serv Safe certified is a plus Interest in growing within the company and contributing to long-term store and team success.
