Position Details

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Hard-stop: Labor and post-partum experience is required.

Orientation: 36 hours

Ratios: 1:3

First-timers accepted: Yes

Qualifications

Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
Certifications Required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Advanced
Experience in Charge Role: Preferred
Charting System Experience: Epic

Skills and Responsibilities

Administer blood and blood products
Manage adult cardiac arrest situations
Perform amnioinfusion and anticoagulation therapy
Support with high-risk deliveries and sterile speculum exams
Provide breastfeeding and lactation support
Conduct newborn assessments and manage newborn hypoglycemia
Perform labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections
Conduct patient education and discharge teaching
Maintain IV lines and manage medications
Respond to postpartum complications and triage obstetrical patients
