Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

4x12 hour shifts available upon request.

Assignment Details

Ratios 1:3. Orientation is 36 hours. Guaranteed hours with the facility able to call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced.
• Must float between like units.
• Local candidates are not accepted.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during pregnancy and delivery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in resuscitation when necessary.
