Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryThis position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Certifications required include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP. The Nurse will assist in both labor and post-partum care. Patient ratios will be 1:3 during shifts. Travelers may be expected to float between like units. Local candidates are not accepted for this position. RTO must be included at the time of submission. The facility may call off once per two-week pay period. All responses to RTO should be made upfront during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination of assignment. Two professional references covering the last three years of work experience are required. These references can include Charge Nurses or Lead Nurses. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to all assigned duties. Communication devices may be provided by the employer if required for the assignment. The acceptance of this position entails commitment to working holiday shifts. Candidates will be expected to handle various procedures and patient care duties as needed. This includes but is not limited to assisting with deliveries, recovery, and education of parents.
